TRAINS OF THOUGHT/WOOWOO
While taking a shower last night I recalled that Zest ad campaign a few years ago involving a soap brand, a loofah, and the big, black, pro sports athlete known as Ironhead explaining to the male population of America that loofahs are manly because he was using one with the soap product advertised in the commercial. Then that soap brand started providing a free loofah with the purchase of their soap, just to force men to adopt the loofah lifestyle. I really laughed when I remembered because the idea is incredibly amusing, especially in retrospect.
Then somehow my brain went from thinking about showers in the dark to, "I guess that's what it's like to shower if you're blind." From there I thought, "Do blind people ever turn the lights on in their house?" and then "Do they turn them on only at night just so they won't get burglarized?" My mind was boggled at the idea of being completely blind and living without a need for any light source. Wouldn't that be wild?
