SECURITY SECURITY

I can hear a drizzly rain through the open window in this room. It's almost 2AM and I'm not tired because I had two naps today (one short, one long) and then I read Robert Walser for the first time and now I think I'm in love. I also talked to one of the guys in charge of my trip today and found out I'm not actually required to wear all-dark clothing like the man-in-charge states in his training manual. So stupid. I'm sure people aren't trying to rob you every second you're in public, either. This means I will take lots and lots of photos to share with you punks.

I made absolutely no progress on my living quarters today. Sorry, grandma.

I keep thinking about how I only have to work two days this week and getting excited, forgetting that the rest of the days will be spent hectically cleaning and anguishing over what to pack. Oh, and forget the crappy-clothes-to-not-make-orphan-kids-uncomfortable idea I had about what clothes to take. I was informed today that the apparal standard is "nice casual." Does this rule out the black sweatshirt with gold music notes that I just bought at Goodwill? Since I'm going to take it anyway, I guess it will pass.
