I get the worst songs stuck in my head while I'm at work. Yes, "Still the One" and "Some Guys Have All the Luck" are two of the most common. Yesterday it was Paula Abdul's "Straight Up" and Charles and Eddie's "Would I Lie to You." (Fortunately it doesn't get much worse than that.) I tend to dwell on the songs I don't actually know (or haven't even heard much at all) so then I end up singing the same one or two lines for an hour or two. Or more. Always just one or two lines though, at the most. Does this happen to anyone else? Why don't I ever sing songs I know the words to? I guess I just don't find myself in the mood to meander through a workday singing dark Depeche Mode songs.
