ANOTHER OBSESSION: KOKESHI DOLLS

Japanese artists are adapting the traditional Japanese Kokeshi doll into something fabulous. Believed to have been originally created for farm children and eventually being sold at northern Japanese spas, these dolls have been a part of Japanese culture for nearly 400 years. Me, I love souvenirs and I love simple, artistic renditions of souvenirs even more. These typically go for about $50 a pop and can be found on TokyoCube's website.

Okay, that completely ROCKS. Thankyouthankyouthankyou for the TokyoCube website, I'm going to now go and blow all my savings on it.

I know, right? I don't see how someone couldn't love that stuff. Now instead of just collecting your superhero figures you can collect "designer toys"! Haha.
